Itinerary
1
We will meet in the afternoon at the Antiche Dimore San Felice in Spello, welcomed by the owner Franca Magrini. After check-in we will have an appetizer with our staff. Bikes check.
2
In the morning, after a good breakfast, we will ride to the hills overlooking Foligno. We will visit the Abbey of Sassovivo and then we will reach the ancient village of Rasiglia, known as "Borgo dei ruscelli", due to the waterways that run through the small center of the village. It's the Umbrian Venice, enchanted with its streams and channels that feed the ancient mills that operate the weavers' looms. The great abundance of water in the internal channel was exploited to develop the economy and also led to the formation, along its course, of numerous factories: fulling mills, grain mills, woollen mills and dyeing mills that worked on fine fabrics. These factories remained active throughout the nineteenth century and the first half of the twentieth century. We'll have a guided visit. We'll leave for Sellano, where we will have lunch. The return trip can be made by bike or by van. In the evening we will have dinner in one of the most beautiful cellars of Sagrantino with an unforgettable wine tasting at the Dionigi Winery.
3
After breakfast we will head to Bevagna, a medieval village famous for its craft shops, the medieval costume festival and the beautiful washhouse with fountain. We will continue to Montefalco, and its the beautiful historic center. Then we will ride towards Spoleto, all around olive groves and vineyards, we'll pass through Castel Ritaldi and then arrive in Spoleto, to visit the beautiful Cathedral and the Eremo delle Carceri. Coming down from the town, we will have lunch in a typical farmhouse. In the afternoon we will visit Foligno, “Lo centro de lo munnu”, Palazzo Trinci, with its Press Museum. Later we will take a stroll in town and have dinner in a typical restaurant.
4
After breakfast time we will leave from Spello to Assisi. Spello is part of the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Riding towards Cantalupo, Bettona and Santa Maria degli Angeli, we will reach the Abbey of San Francesco. We will visit Assisi, and have lunch in a farmhouse. Coming back we will choose whether to ride or use the van. Greetings and... arrivederci Italia!

Ital Cycling Bike Tours offers you a road bike rental which is at a professional level.
The Superstar is Cinelli’s cutting-edge carbon fiber re-interpretation of the mythical Italian stage-racing bicycle that is the brand’s heritage and DNA.
Unlike other brands who each year offer bicycles with ever increasingly narrow scope of use, Cinelli, when developing the Superstar, obsessed over the way in which the inherent qualities of carbon fiber and its manufacturing processes could be employed to produce an aggressively contemporary version of the legendary versatility of the Italian Grand Tour ride quality i.e. the intelligent balance of low-weight, aggressive handling over highly varied terrain and long-distance riding comfort.
The K60 is the ideal model for those who switch to a carbon frame for the first time and wish to do so while being careful to optimize the quality / cost ratio. Also designed for cycle touring, the reactivity and stiffness of this bike will amaze you! The monocoque carbon frame weighing about 990 grams, is characterized by modern lines, in the name of cleanliness and elegance.
