Naples and Amalfi Coast

Welcome to the hotel and tour briefing. Check equipment and positioning on the bike. Visit to the Borghetto del Castello and dinner at the restaurant on the seafront.

Departure for Mount Vesuvius, the volcano overlooking Naples, for a 4-hour bike ride. Passing by the Royal Reggia di Portici (here it will be possible to enjoy a guided tour of about 60 minutes) before arriving at Vesuvius for a guided walking tour around the crater. Lunch at the foot of the volcano or or light lunch on the road. Riding to Pompei we will stop for a debriefing at a pastry shop to enjoy the typical “sfogliatella”. Return to the hotel and dinner at a sea restaurant.

We start the day with a guided tour of the Pompei Archaeological Park (2 hours) on foot and from there we depart by bike in the late morning towards the famous Amalfi Coast. We will stop in the beautiful Sorrento after 25km for a light lunch and cycle all the way to Amalfi though one of the most scenic rides you will ever experience. Arrival in Amalfi and check in at the hotel, before enjoying an exclusive aperitif on a boat to watch the sunset from the water. Return for dinner to a restaurant by the sea. Once we are back to the hotel we will do a briefing for the next day.

Departure from Amalfi to climb up to the fascinating town of Ravello and stop for 30 minute to take a rest while admiring the stunning view of this terrace over the cliffs. We leave to reach Vietri to visit a ceramic artisan workshop for about half an hour. Arrival in Salerno for a light lunch at the famous Solopasta Restaurant. Return to Cetara and relaxing afternoon on the beach. In the evening we will enjoy a typical dinner with the unmissable Spaghetti with anchovy sauce from Cetara. Briefing in the “Piazzetta”.

Departure for Naples for a total of 4 hours by bike. Reaturn via the inland road, climbing the spectacular road to Cava dei Tirreni and making a stop to regain energy in Scafati with a coffee and a sfogliatella. Arrival in Naples and light lunch. Afternoon dedicated to visiting the historic center of Naples on foot, from the historic Caffè Gambrinus in Piazza del Plebiscito to continue in the shopping street, Via Toledo and visiting the underground station to admire the frescoes. We will proceed along the most famous street in Naples called Spaccanapoli (literally “breaking Naples") to visit San Gregorio Armeno, the street of the cribs. Dinner in the pizzeria "La Figlia del Presidente" in the heart of the city and debriefing.

Departure for the Island of Ischia boarding the ferry in Pozzuoli. Periplus of Ischia admiring the cliffs overlooking the sea and its bays. Arrival at the hotel Thermal Park Poseidon with welcome light lunch. It will be possible to spend the afternoon accessing the Poseidon Thermal Baths. We close the day with an aperitif and dinner in Sant'Angelo.

Ferry form Ischia to Pozzuoli, transfer by van to Napoli airport.
